Role Description
We are expanding our Product & Tech department with a full-time Product Designer. This is a high-impact role, with focus on strong design skills along with excellent communication skills. You will support our full-stack domain teams and website development, with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, further strengthening Amuse's brand and enabling innovative ways to help artists excel.
To thrive in this role, you enjoy being a part of the creative process while actively communicating and cross-collaborating with our different teams to present an optimal user experience. In addition, you bring positive energy and work well both independently and with a team. You're passionate about design, and if you also share our love for music or bring experience from working in the industry, that's a big plus!
Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our digital products.
- Collaborate with PMs, other designers, developers, and additional stakeholders to ensure design consistency and alignment with user needs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Support with user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Represent the product design discipline within the product team and the rest of the organization.
- Stay updated with design trends and industry best practices.
Experience and skills you possess:
- At least two years of previous experience in UI and UX design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work, both for web and mobile.
- A solid understanding of design systems, UX principles, and best practices, including native elements for mobile like the Apple HIG and Material design.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Experienced in giving constructive feedback and able to receive feedback well, someone who can iterate on their designs within their team and stakeholders.
Bonus if you also:- Have a bachelor's degree in a related academic field.
- Understand and have experience with user research methodologies and tools.
