Role Description
We are now looking for a Junior Data Engineer / Analyst to join our Technology team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your toolset of data-related technologies in a collaborative environment. With the help of analytical tools, you will analyze and interpret raw data while sharing your findings internally with the team. Your role will be an important part of helping the team improve how reporting is presented while also contributing to increasing the value of data.
As a Junior Data Engineer / Analyst you will be at the intersection of data analysis and analytics engineering. Responsibilities:
- Work together with the data team to integrate new data sources into the data platform.
- Build and maintain jobs to create reporting and other data outputs used by key internal stakeholders and our millions of users.
- Assist with engineering and operations as well as analytical reporting.
Qualities and skills you possess:
- Solid numerical aptitude when reporting results and analyzing data to help draw business-related conclusions.
- Some previous practical experience in data analysis and reporting utilizing spreadsheet tools like Excel, data preparation, and SQL extraction.
- Experience with Python is beneficial.
- Strong presentational skills, with an ability to clearly convey messaging through reports and or presentations.
- A problem-solving mentality and an excellent eye for detail.
- Bonus if you are also interested in the domain of music.
