Role Description
As Marketing Intern for the amuse label, you are a passionate, professional and highly self-motivated individual, looking to gain experience in the music industry. You should be forward-thinking and very much aware of the current music landscape, including trends and developments, key digital platforms and a broad understanding of current music across a variety of genres.
Reporting into and working closely with the Head of Artist Marketing, you will provide support within the Marketing team across the label roster. You will be a fast learner able to pivot quickly when given new tasks, and a proactive team member willing to identify ways to help and contribute to projects being worked by the team. As a label focused on understanding trends and ways to drive engagement and consumption across multiple platforms and channels, you will contribute to the team and help us reach our ambitious targets.
This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities:
Support the Artist Marketing team as directed - this would include helping to manage and gather artist assets, researching trends and new platforms, helping to identify TikTok creators that support specific music genres, identifying themes in TikTok videos that use our artists’ music, building contests or landing pages using tools such as Linkfire and Toneden.
Gather statistics and general information for our artists and collate them in reports as directed.
Research digital partners and be able to share information with the team, to help support campaigns.
Provide administrative support.
Qualities and skills you possess:
Previous experience in a music-based internship, such as a record label, distributor or management company.
Highly trustworthy - you will be privy to confidential information and assigned tasks that are expected to be completed as directed, on time.
Passion for and a deep understanding of the digital music landscape and current music trends.
Familiarity with all key digital platforms including Discord, TikTok and YouTube.
Practical experience of managing social platforms or running digital ad campaigns is a bonus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and pivot quickly when requested.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Ability to work in the Google suite including Google Slides.
